Benefits Available for Those With Hearing Loss | Hearing Loss Grants 2021

If you have a hearing loss or are Deaf then there are plenty of benefits and discounts available. In this video I will run through the top hearing loss benefits that I am aware of.

The majority of these are hearing loss grants funded by government payments and accessible by heading to gov.uk. The schemes are designed to improve the quality of life for those with hearing loss, whether that be in the workplace or in education; giving those with a hearing loss the best chances of reaching their full potential.

Hearing loss compensation can be used to invest in assistive devices such as FM systems or recording equipment to help in lectures or meetings, plus it can be used to aid communication, such as by hiring an interpreter. Those with hearing loss are entitled to apply to any of the schemes as long as reach the criteria which you'll find the details on in the video. Hearing loss compensation schemes are applicable for those that have lost hearing through industrial injuries, lost their hearing loss in the armed forces, ie. hearing loss from serving in a war.
