ОтветитьGreat stories! Enjoyed as always!
ОтветитьThe best food is the food I can't eat .its when the bar girls give me a battered sausage
ОтветитьMorning Pete. Just listened to these 5 stories (before my morning porridge). All were interesting. I also never go to restaurants in any country that are empty, that said I have had food poisoning a couple of times over many years travelling. Thanks for posting. Cheers 🍻
ОтветитьGreat Memories of Bangkok in the background & Great Stories again, thanks
ОтветитьGoing on walkabouts is good, thanks Peter. 👍
ОтветитьHi Peter, as we all know, Thailander's / Working girls simply do not understand the old saying, (A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush) and will go home empty handed most of the time!
(If only they could simply understand basic arithmetic!)
Thank you very much promotes travelers in thailand
ОтветитьLoved the first story! I’m a sucker for stories of kindess and grace. Mongering? Not so much (unless the story ends with a crash and burn, of course). Thank you for the story, maestro!
ОтветитьI think it is wrong to say girls only work in the bar for money. Many of them actually love the sisterhood of the bar and never want to leave
ОтветитьI suffered a bout of mild food poisoning a few trips ago and the girl I was with took very good care of me. She drew me a bubble bath and then went out and made sure to buy me some soup and some solid food as well. It was really kind of her and I won’t ever forget that.
ОтветитьI doubt that fellow got food poisoning from the lobster. Everyone thinks they know where they got it but rarely are they correct
ОтветитьYour just a customer in there eyes , she had many a man before you it’s just your turn
ОтветитьGteat stories again, i wonder if that guy will ever retrieve his 20,000 Bhat from his old bank account 😅
ОтветитьReg retrieving your money from the Bangkok bank....YOu can definitely get your money back. But you do need to go to the same branch where your account was opened and show them the same documents you used to open that account. But to just travel to BKK for this alone, is NOT worth it...but if you are going there on holiday or business, then its definitely something you can do,
Ответитьfor the guy without his bank passbook, go to the bank with ID that the bank has on file (old passport used to open the account and your current passport). if the bank allows, ask them to re-issue a new passbook. you might have to pay a fee. if that doesn't work, tell the bank you want to deposit additional funds into the account but need a new passbook. deposit some money and go back to the bank some time later and close your account and withdraw your balance. I've had no problems in Korea and Singapore when I lost my passbook (years ago before banks stopped issuing passbooks)
ОтветитьYah... How about that Kulabdam v Lobo Muay Thai fight last night?... That's right... Is that what I call entertainment or what?...
ОтветитьIt's possible that the tank had a dead lobster and didn't know it and it contaminated the whole tank
ОтветитьDo you ever get stories from decent folks😑.
ОтветитьGreat stories Peter
ОтветитьAnother collection of remarkable viewers' stories!
And I just want to say thanks for your diligence over a long time in regularly making these videos, much appreciated.
Hi Pete and great stories again thank you. Actually over the weekend and including your stories I felt a trend of stories where many people have experienced food poisoning in Thailand whether they live there or just holidaying, my family also experienced this which does take a few days away from your holiday. Weirdly enough the guides of only going to well established and popular/busy restaurants does not provide surety either as many of the cases were from the better up market locations. They all had a common theme though and was consistent with our experience... while eating if a bite of something within your meal tasted a bit funny then don't shrug it off and swallow but spit it out and rinse. Example is: we shared many meals but only one person became violently ill and later said... one of the prawns tasted weird. Maybe you would like to bring up this point. It would not work all the time but probably adds just another layer of protection to some extent?
ОтветитьYou do not need the bank pass book. All you need is to prove that you are the owner of the account. If you still have your old passport that you opened the account with will make it easier.
Your old passport is linked to the bank account.
If you get a new passport the bank requires you to update your account to reflect your new passport.
People lose pass books all the time !
Not a big deal !
Go on holiday and collect your money from the bank and a short time.... 😂
Congratulations On 56K Subs...🫡
ОтветитьHello Mr Peter, I enjoy the stories and find them relaxing and interesting. But Ive noticed that you’ve changed your background format…
I used to like the gorgeous pictures or sea videos that you previously had. The new “street walking” vid while you talk I find a bit distracting (although I do see why others would enjoy). Just a friendly comment on the background…. Cheers Mate and keep up the good work. Ill send you a story someday as I have hundreds! Heehee
Very distracting watching the cars reversing into the back of your head
Ответить4,000baht!!-you were had mate
ОтветитьOh my god, story 3:
step 1 meet girl
step 2 we bf and gf now, stop working in a bar
step 3 ok but send me money
step 4 i need more money and im also jealous btw
step 5 whole thing falls apart
Is it cheaper to bar fine AI generated chicks like thumbnail girl?...
ОтветитьI feel sorry for the guy story two. Better stay alone than having this much trouble with the girl 💁
ОтветитьSilly punters paying silly prices that put up the cost for everyone.
ОтветитьFair price ST 1500 baht. Anything more just inflates the deal for everyone.
ОтветитьHi Chuck
I was due to travel to Isaan area in March for 2 months but due to a health issue I cannot travel now
Hopefully be well enough to travel at the end of the year
Your posts make me feel good as I can see Isaan without leaving the UK 😅 great content keep it going
food poisoning story - the thai girl was very kind...but the hotel served him the oldest (n which turned out to be the foulest) shrimp in storage...land of smiles. Peter, love your channel n stories
ОтветитьLove your stories and pacing, Peter. I have started an Asia experience related channel as well. Your style of doing things is an inspiration to me. Take a look if you find the time!
Cheers!
As soon as she’s asking your for money after you leave. Block! It’s ok to spoil when together and you can afford it , but Fs guys never give a women money when you’re 10k miles away. Hit & quit. Its Thailand 🤣
ОтветитьSerious question.. why would a man want to sleep with someone who doesn't want to sleep with them and would need paying to do so?
ОтветитьAny of you mongers ever bar fined an AI bar girl?... How was the Connect 4?...
ОтветитьWhy are guys paying for sex haha.
ОтветитьBar girls only for old men
ОтветитьGlad I'm not this much of a slave to my libido. Thai Bound; Love the channel and your demeanor - but you're better than this!
Ответить5,000 a week..!! Awesome..!! She won't the Issan Lottery..!! Wow..!!!❤
ОтветитьArguing over money and services is sure my idea of foreplay.
ОтветитьThe girls don’t take the money up front? These chicks are being trafficked too. The family story is just what they say.
ОтветитьSometimes they take the seafood out of the tank and take it out back and put it in another tank.
You think you’re getting the one in the tank but they replace it with an old one.
When you leave they take it from the tank out back and put it back in the main store tank
Peter, maybe you’ve already done a video on this but I’d like to hear your story. I’ve put some stuff together over the past year listening to you but maybe you could do a short video from the beginning. Your first time, what brought you to Thailand, when did you first hear about it. Some of your stories situations you found strange and how things have changed over the years. What do you do to fill the day, what did you do in the beginning that you no longer do. Friends or family reactions. Have you lost any of them relations due to your lifestyle. If you could go back 20 years ago would you change things or what was the biggest financial blunder/learning curve.
ОтветитьMaybe a seafood allergy?
ОтветитьFunny stuff
ОтветитьI have submitted three stories to you Peter, Thankyou.. I have one wonderful short story to you. One very hung over mornings I was walking around Patong. I found myself a very nice bar cleaning woman . I asked her where I could find some some food. She immediate gave me some of her simple chicken and rice lunch. She was the nicest person I'd ever met in phucket.. Of course I wanted a beer.. She fed me and gave me her lunch. Shortly after that the owner showed up. I didnt have the opportunity to give her a tip directly, I am sure the owner kept the 300B tip. I wish I could have come back
