I feel Edu did leave before he was sacked! Because he signed Sterling without Arteta being in total agreement. Edu convinced everyone it would be a good signing AFTER he signed him in the last hours of the summer transfer window! That’s why Arteta doesn’t play him cause he didn’t want him in the first place! This is a great show - the frustration is growing over at best average performances, poor discipline, whinging about referees decisions etc. The squad looks stale and unless something happens in January the season is effectively over as far as PL title concerned.

calafiori is a good signing, but we didn't need him if kiwior and zinchenko are both still on the books.

next season we will need a LCM, LW, CF and RW option.
we can hope that nwaneri and mls can slot in at one of those positions, but in best case scenario we still need 2 players in attack minimum.
we will also get rid of zinchenko and kiwior and get another defender. i do want that jorrel hato lad, but he should have been gotten instead of calafiori if you ask me.
