McCarthy coming up with a different rallying cry each season seemed gimmicky to me. Schotty seems to know what standards he wants to uphold.

So the difference I see in shotty is it seems like shotty has more balls and leadership skills than Garrett for example we'd have never got the draft Garrett wanted because he just backed down. I think shottys smart enough to think it's their idea and knows how to get things done with them.

Everyone's always worried about the HC that we get, whether their good/bad. But none never realize that it doesn't matter which type of coach that we get because those sorry behind jones' will always get in the way and try to be the coach (mainly jerri)!

There's nothing wrong with the player coach, with that being said there is a time and place for the old school hardass coach.

I’m definitely feeling 100% better about the Schotty hire from when they first hired him…..Mainly because of all the solid assistant hirings, I really like the M.Eberflus DC hiring and like you talked about Schotty’s people skills and how the players all seem to really like him…..we just have to not lose so many players to injury this season….it was ridiculous how many top starters were injured for an extended amount of time last season
