I didn't understand a thing under the B-reel part ... It was just words and a mixer passing by in different angles... :)
ОтветитьThanks, helped answered my query on mixers !
ОтветитьI personally hate USB when it comes to anything music/audio.
ОтветитьWhat in the goddamn hell is he saying?
ОтветитьVoicemeter is tedious and complicated? i've never used of it before and i watched tutorial videos and i made it work easily and i have 0 issues. also, you can use external VST plug-ins.
ОтветитьWhere is the "link below" with the mixers?
ОтветитьIf they are all attached to same ground or if you don't have ground, hum should not occur.
ОтветитьThanks a lot. I've been struggling with the question of what to do with my Sennheiser headphones which use 1/4" plug and standard Blue Yeti mic. To date, my solution has been connect the headset to the Yeti via a 1/4" - 3.5 mm adapter, and then the Yeti to one of the USB ports on my computer. I found this setup to be clunky, and just plain ugly with the wires all strewn about. I decided to clean things up by switching to the Razer wireless headset, and have rather quickly discovered that I hate it. It's heavy, bulky, and the earpieces make my ears sweat after a few minutes use.
I finally decided to go the usb interface route, and have purchased the PreSonus Audiobox 2x2 along with a new mic stand. I went cheap on my first desk mount mic stand and well, you get what you pay for. I may need to get more advanced in the future, but for someone who just does the occasional streaming, I just need game sound, discord, and a mic input.
What the fuck
ОтветитьHello i'm trying to do a facebook live either with OBS or Xplit but i have an issue i see my soundcard but no audio going in with both sofwares i tried everything and hit a wall what can it be?
ОтветитьI want the best audio for recording I'm using mixer to mic in, now I will try blue line in but my question is this. Onboard audio or will a sound card help at all if I upgrade? Many thanx as this video is exactly what I needed?
ОтветитьZoom R8 as audio interface/mixer for streaming in obs?
ОтветитьI should have learn marsian´s before I click on this video.
ОтветитьI just want to achieve all audio to my headset, and use 1 mic(headset mic) to interact with my stream and chat in game. I am not using elgato I am using a chinese capture card(ezcap284) lol. help I need a cleaner solution
ОтветитьWhat about USB mixers, do they eliminate the need for an interface?
ОтветитьNice job, on earth tho we call 1, 4 inch a quarter inch 😁
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if OBS can handle thunderbolt interfaces??? I'm using a Lynx Aurora 16 Channel thunderbolt, and it won't even recognize ANY audio coming in on those channels. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you. Thank you. Seriously.
Ответитьso what he just said?
ОтветитьWhew! This is way over my head!
ОтветитьDude. Totally over most people's heads. Your setup is insanely complex. I am positive most streamers don't have anything like what you've got going on. Just look at some of the other comments. Damn man, please talk to the common man, not audiophiles. Most everything you said in this video went right over my head and I'm not a stupid person.
Ответитьwhy not both?
ОтветитьGood video but too fast for non-beginners to understand what is happening
ОтветитьI spoke with you about the Q502 USB a while back. It produces mic and my game audio out of one track. Would me using the 1/4" into my motherboard solve the problem of the USB output? Sorry if its a re-occurring question. I just don't want to have to buy another mixer... all though i am looking to get the GoXlr mini. LOL. Mahalo in advance.
ОтветитьDude your so deep into the jargon and fancy vocab you forgot about the leyman and the person that wants a simple explanation. Masters simplifiy and make it plain not this mumbo jumbo mess!
Ответитьthanks for this video. I have some questions. Hi I need to put all my instrumentation live into the room as some of my instruments are not miced directly rather with room mics. I need to hear it in the room. I need to be able to use a mixing board and my speakers in the room and then send sound into the software. I am only playing by myself but want the best audio quality to live stream a solo music concert. This concert I will not live stream with anyone else in another location. I use about 5 to 8 microphones. I also may use a iPhone (my roommates) or my vixia cannon video camera for the camera. I heard I will need a video capture card? I need to live stream 2 hour concerts. 1080 p. Music 48 K? Does the software record the live stream too so you can download. Latency needs to be at a minimum. What equipment do I need if I use the iPhone for a camera, and what equipment if I use the video recorder, and what is the schematic? I own a few focus-rites. My camera can do a clean screen without writing in it. I don't want to use the mic in the computer to pick up the audio in the room. Please advise. Also wouldn't mind being able to use 2 cameras eventually but you need some sort of multi input box? (not needed yet), and someday would be great to play with another person in another location but not needed yet.
Ответитьwhats the difference between the preamps that are built in the (for example) xenyx 802 usb vs the soundcraft signature 12MTK ? will i as a mediocre streamer have a difference in sound quality?
ОтветитьDo you recommend a good HDMI 4K60HDR switcher similar to the one you showed for the new consoles?
ОтветитьHello EposVox thank you for sharing al you knowledge. I am having an issue with m,y Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen with OBS. I am unable to separate the 2 audio inputs into different tracks or L/R channel in my records for interviews. I see there is a plug called ASIO but i am running on a MAC therefore I'm out of luck. Do you know of any other solutions to separate my 2 mic inputs on my records. Any information is appreciated.
Ответитьboy this aged not very well
ОтветитьWhat would you suggest for Linux? I know at least seven inputs are needed (two for my Roland CM-32L synth, two for my Roland Sound Canvas (which also has its own input), one for mic, and at least two for older consoles/computers that only output analog sound).
ОтветитьI've heard that motherboard line in is bad for audio. Not shielded or something. This is from someone recommending a goxlr, which is way out of my budget!
ОтветитьOk, so I'm running a 16 channel analog mackie with a aux coming out of one of my physical channels, direct audio into my pc. So outside of that are you saying that I would need a focusrite or baby beringer? I have enough channels in the mackie. Each instrument and mic has its own physical channel. I can't hear the mix on my obs end to get full surround when I go live. Right now were just using the internal mic on the canon to hear live audio. When I plug into the pc all of my levels on obs go dead. Is it possible that I may need to run virtual plug-ins as well. I saw another video that spoke to that in some sense, or do I just need to choose audio in from properties??
ОтветитьVery confusing
ОтветитьI thought i went crazy cause i just bought a qu-16... nice setup dude
ОтветитьDope! I learned a couple things, thanks bro!
ОтветитьI like using my outboard gear vs what voicemeter or any other digital method. Stuck in my ways, I am.
ОтветитьHow do you get OBS to work with the MixPre-3 ii? I'm using a Neumann XLR & a type c going to the pc I have it set to "Line In (MixPre Audio 2.9.96.2)" but still no sound.
ОтветитьGood review. Small hint... the 1/4" plug is normally referred to as a "quarter inch" plug.
ОтветитьPretty overkill for my candy crush streams 😩
ОтветитьGreat video. I'm needing some help. I have a DL32R and trying to get sound out using OBS. The little gren box lights up in mic settings but dont see the meter bar go up or down when testing my mic. Any ideas
Thank you.
Adc converters, how is it connected
ОтветитьSame config, works fine
ОтветитьHello! Thank you so much for all your videos. They helped me a lot! I'm a fitness instructor and I'm setting up my studio to teach online. I got the Behringer Xenyx Q502USB to plug in my mic and my music, and connected to my pc through the USB cable. The connection is successful and I can hear everything when I record my class through OBS but the sound recorded is very low. I turned off most of the tracks on OBS audio mixer for my Q502 (left only 2 checked), and set all the other devices volume to 0% except the Q502 set as 100%. Finally I muted all other options of sound under the OBS Audio Mixer option AND "audio monitoring" is set to Monitor Off. The recorded video volume is still low compare to the volume I recorded. Do you recommend changing more settings in OBS or in the Q502 (I have everything at middle point) to increase the sound quality of my Windows 10 laptop? My intention is to upload these into Vimeo and place in my website. My settings under audio is set with 48Hz, stereo channels and I got "Default" on all devices. The decay rate is Fast and peak meter type is "sample peak". Monitoring device "default". The disable windows audio ducking is checked. Under "OUTPUT" I got recording tab set with Standard Type, mkv format and I got 3 audio tracks selected. My audio bitrate is 160 and I'm recording with 60FPS GoPro camera. Any help is deeply appreciated!
ОтветитьDo sound card matters? I use old soundblaster 2 with line in input to capture analog signal from my Pioneer DJM-800. I have to set mixer output level to 11'o clock due to distortion. I'm not sure that im setting it right.
ОтветитьI very much enjoyed this tutorial, just a small question, I am using a allen and heath Zed 22 fx mixer. I have asked about my live stream volume, not loud enough, I am using a line out of aux sends to a usb interface behringer um 2 which runs to the computer we are using OBS any thoughts on what may be my issue. Thank you for the courses.
ОтветитьYeah I thought when you mentioned the OBS in your title you were going to actually talk about configuring OBS to take the audio in. Obviously to my camera mic input which is a Canon EOS r100 I am feeding that from the output of my mixer into an audio interface which is selected at line and the output which is a 1/8 selected at mic level. There are obviously controls on the mixer, also the audio interface and even in the camera to ensure I am not over driving the audio. I am however concerned about bringing video and audio from WhatsApp and was thinking of sending that out the computer into the mixer which would then come in with the regular microphone except I would be able to turn up and down the external sources from WhatsApp. Is there a way in OBS also to just take the audio direct from the WhatsApp video for guests to the stream?
