The series only gets better from here
ОтветитьI don't know anything about this book.. happy to be here anyways. Thanks for the content! 😂👍
ОтветитьWhat an intro 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьMy first book I read since high-school (always hated reading)
Finished this book last night. Didn't know books can be so amazing.ordered the next 2 books this morning.
Alright man, I may need to pick this one up... I have a significant lack of fiction in my life, and even though I was happy to hear the spoilers, I may need to read it for myself...
ОтветитьAs a helldiver, darrows strongest asset is his hands. he mentions it a lot throughout the beginning, so that’s why he could outgrip a monster like titus!
ОтветитьDarrow isn't a Gary sue. When he gives his speech at the midpoint he points outs his weaknesses. It seems like sevro is more up your speech as a character
ОтветитьI just finished this book in about three days, I could not put it down. One of the best first installments to a franchise I’ve ever read, it was absolutely thrilling. Every plot twist left with my jaw on the floor. Sevro, Mustang and Pax were such fascinating characters. I can’t wait to see what happens with Cassius in the next book.
ОтветитьOn the point about giving the Laurel to the Gammas, the idea is that if the Society gives it to Gamma every time the other tribes will hate and blame the Gammas instead of the Society itself, and there's still punishments if you go below quota to prevent the tribes from protesting
ОтветитьIve been hounding my partner to read this series for YEARS now because i want to talk about it with him. So i was so happy to stumble across this video after binging your Dark Tower videos 😅
Ответитьsounds like you should be rooting for sevro
ОтветитьI think they mention in the book that the reason the Laurel is always given to the Gammas is because 1. They want other reds to hate Gammas and not Golds and 2. It's a show of power, that the Golds give you everything and they will only give you what they think you deserve
Ответитьloved this book, never thought about how Darrow was really overpowered. But yeah he definitely was but I enjoyed that aspect tbh and it humanises the golds
